Your questions answered

How much does it cost to enter?

Charity lottery entry costs £1 per entry. Your £5 per month subscription will ensure that you never miss a draw and any excess pence that aren’t played in a draw will be gratefully accepted as a donation by NSPCC. There are some months with four Weekly Lottery draws and some with five, depending on how many Fridays are in the month. So by playing the Weekly Lottery and paying £5 per month by Direct Debit it ensures you will never miss a draw. In a month with only four draws, any excess pence you have paid in your £5 subscription that doesn't go towards entering you into a draw, will build up and that becomes a donation towards the vital work of the NSPCC such as Childline.

If you'd rather not make an additional donation towards the work of the NSPCC, you can join on £4.34 per line per month.

Can the NSPCC claim the Gift Aid on lottery entries?

No, unfortunately the NSPCC is unable to claim Gift Aid on money received for Weekly Lottery entries, but we can claim Gift Aid on donations. Any amount you give above your Charity Lottery entry counts as a donation – in this case any money accumulated across the year from pence not needed for a draw when there are only 4 Fridays in a month.

What can I win?

You will be in with a chance of winning one of our charity lottery weekly prizes: £1,000 jackpot; £10 x 10 winners; £5 x 20 winners. You’ll also be entered into our quarterly superdraw for the chance to win £10,000!

What can my weekly entry do for children?

Playing the NSPCC Weekly Charity Lottery could help answer a child’s call to Childline every month.
